Diving in Nosy Iranja

The right conclusion of an unforgettable week

PLATEAU OF SHARKS (minimum depth 23 meters, maximum 30 meters)

The “Plateau of sharks” dive is the starting point of the two most beautiful scuba diving in Iranja. It is a small and sandy plateau, which is located from 23 to 30 meters depth. Moreover, it is populated by white tip sharks, gray sharks, leopard sharks and also by shoals of snappers, unicorn fish, grunts and trevally. In addition, beautiful gorgonians and a colony of fuchsia alcyonaria complete this fantastic scenario. Because of strong currents and the smallness of this plateau, here it is not possible to make an entire dive. What we do is going to the beautiful wall close to it. For this reason, dives in Nosy Iranja are inclined to expert divers.

PINNACLE OF JEAN GABRIEL (minimum depth 23 meters, maximum 50)

Leaving the plateau of sharks before mentioned, a jump of almost 30 meters in the blue leads us to swim along a wonderful vertical wall decorated with huge sea fans. Not far away from the wall, you can find 2 high pinnacle, where often a couple of giant stingrays spend their time. Along the bottom of the barrier, it is easy to meet some leopard sharks.

IRANJA ASCENDING!!!!!!!!!!! (minimum depth 23 meters, maximum 50)

Iranja ascending is a long vertical wall, which has a Peak Life between 30 and 50 meters, decorated with huge and lovely sea fans. It is a scenery of a magic dive, which can be made unforgettable by the elegant dance of two stingrays, who fluctuate in the current channeled into a narrow canyon. This dive ends in the plateau of sharks before mentioned.
